Hi there, pleased to meet you!
Thanks for stopping by She Has Style, a passion that’s grown into my purpose over the past four years.
Some of you will know my story and how fashion and making people comfortable in their own skin has become something I love, but for those of you who are new to my story, here’s a chance for you to get to know the woman behind the business.
So, who is Sheri from SHS?
Well, I am 34, a self-confessed coffee addict, shopaholic, wine-loving wife and mum. I don’t go anywhere without lip-gloss and sometimes wonder if I remain bottle blonde to cover up some of those, “I can’t believe I just said that” moments. I grew up in Adelaide’s southern suburbs and in my early 20’s wore heels day in and day out, had the beach and shops at my fingertips and a social life to die for. But, life had very different plans for me.
It was like an episode of Farmer Wants A Wife, I met a man who was born and raised in the country and when he popped the question I packed up my life to move to the Mid North of South Australia to live happily ever after.
Now nine years later, one (half) renovated house, three businesses, a 6.5 year-old and a cat – life is far from boring!
As well as a passion for styling I run Labels and Love, which will soon be transitioning to She Has Style stocking all the latest in women’s fashion. I partnered with an online children’s boutique in the Clare Valley to create a pop-up shop and we never packed up shop – so Lalt Collective is still a favourite around town. This brings with it plenty of social media posting, styling clients and looking for the next big fashion hit I know my customers will love.
When I’m not at work I’m playing Mum, making candles (something you might not have known!) and studying to bring my clients the best knowledge possible.
You can expect to see some big things on the blog as we kick off the beginning of She Has Style, including seasonal trends, styling tips, current projects and of course speaking to women I admire in my life – because we all love to know what people are up to!
Thanks for all the support and for allowing me the chance to get to know all of you too – I can’t wait for someone to say ‘She Has Style’ when you walk into a room next.
